The International Society for Small and Medium Enterprises (ISSME) is an ISO 9001:2008 certified leading global organisation with its headquarters at New Delhi, the capital city of India. It has been working with members, affiliates and partners across the world for the promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) since its inception in 2010. Strengthening countries through promotion of SMEs is our motto.
In a short span of time, ISSME has emerged as one of the leading international organizations rendering useful services to SMEs and their support institutions. In its pursuit to become a truly international organization for SMEs, ISSME has been expanding its activities across the globe. It has also been teaming up with concerned UN agencies and international organizations to jointly work on SME development agenda. It brings together various stakeholders engaged in SME promotion such as policy makers, facilitators, experts, educators, researchers, corporates and small entrepreneurs from around the world under one roof and make a synergise the efforts put in by all.
SMEs and their support institutions are very keen to get associated with ISSME because of its unique international characteristics and as it has become a one-stop place to know about SMEs. They are benefitted in many ways. ISSME’s membership is a gateway to a worldwide network of SMEs and related stakeholders, number of business development services and resources that are aimed at SME development.
ISSME has seven types of memberships, and based on your profile, you may apply as a General, Lifetime, Institutional, Corporate, Donor and/or Associate Members only. Membership enrolment is subject to the approval of the management of ISSME and payment of an Annual Membership Fee. A member is required to abide by the Membership Rules and Regulations (.PDF format) as per the By-Laws of ISSME.
The membership is valid for the financial year during which it is granted, unless one has opted for multi-year membership.

Membership remittance may be made directly to ISSME’s bank account in either US dollars or its equivalent Indian Rupees.
You’ll need to download ISSME Membership Kit (.PDF file) or Membership Request Form (.PDF file or MS Word file), print it, fill it in and mail it to the below ISSME Secretariat address along with applicable remittance amount. The Membership Section of the Secretariat will check that your application form is duly filled in and will then submit the application to the concerned head for approval. Once the concerned head approves your application, you will receive a formal communication from the Secretary General, ISSME.
