At ISSME, we are engaged in a continuous effort to improve the quality of services and solutions for members, affiliates and partners. For us, the priority is to complete their projects in time and within their budget without compromising on quality.
We firmly believe in external certification of our core functions and business processes to ensure the highest standards of delivery.
ISSME received the prestigious ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification in March 2012, one of the few non-government, not-for-profit, leading global industry organizations to have done so. It has been continuously renewed every year.
Our externally certified project management processes define how we formulate agreements with members, affiliates or partners; how we communicate with them on progress and the systems we have in place if plans change.
We follow a robust process for procurement which means that suppliers are evaluated for performance in past contracts before being awarded new ones. Our human resources processes ensure that people have the right skills to succeed. Our financial processes guarantee accountability and transparency at all times.
ISSME has sound procurement policies, processes and procedures and has been continuously following the best international system.
In line with a Governing Body resolution, ISSME adopted International Accounting Standards on 1 April 2015 to strengthen transparency, accountability and overall financial management.
ISSME also follows the best of international standards when it comes to new infrastructure contracts, staff trainings and certifications.
